10 August 2005

Audiovox Corporation (Nasdaq: VOXX) and XM Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: XMSR), the nation's leading satellite radio service with more than 4.4 million subscribers, today unveiled the Xpress radio, the all-new XM plug-and-play receiver from Audiovox. The Xpress is the smallest satellite radio receiver to offer a
five-line display screen.

"Audiovox is committed to the satellite radio hardware market, and to again partner with XM Satellite Radio for the debut of the new Xpress radio is testimony to that commitment," said Tom Malone, senior vice president of sales
for Audiovox. "The Xpress offers brand new convenience features in a compact design, providing consumers with a sleek, functional device to access XM's amazing service."

The Xpress combines compact design and a five-line display screen with several other exciting features. The Xpress Tune knob allows the user to search XM's 150-plus channels of commercial-free music and premier sports, talk, news, and entertainment programming with just one knob. And the Xpress comes with a remote control so that other passengers can control the programming. The Xpress can be self-installed quickly and easily in the car or home.

The Xpress comes with additional accessories such as a deluxe vehicle kit, micro antenna, cassette adapter, and power adapter. The product has a built- in FM transmitter, which will wirelessly transmit XM Satellite Radio to any one of 100 FM radio frequencies.

In addition to a five-line display for the channel name, artist name, and song title on each XM channel, the Xpress has a customizable sports ticker, customizable stock ticker, and the TuneSelect and Artist Select features,
which alert listeners when their f avorite songs and artists are played on any XM channel.
"The Xpress is an excellent combination of technological innovation and sleek design," said XM's Senior Vice President of Product Marketing and Distribution Dan Murphy. "The feature-rich Xpress with its five-line display,
sports and stock tickers, 100 channel FM transmitter, clock, alarm and sleep timer is an excellent option for consumers who want an XM receiver that is big on function but compact in size."

The Xpress and included accessories will arrive at retail stores in October 2005 for a suggested retail price of $99.99. Additional Xpress accessories sold separately will include additional vehicle kits, home stereo
