Winland Electronics, Inc. Announces Promotion of Gregory Burneske to Vice President of Engineering

Winland Electronics, Inc. (Amex: WEX), a leading provider of product development and contract manufacturing services, announced today that Gregory (Greg) Burneske has been promoted from Director of Engineering Services to Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Burneske has more than 18 years of new product development experience and has been instrumental these past 20 months in new business development for both EMS and proprietary products at Winland.

Prior to joining Winland in May of 2004, Mr. Burneske was Manager of Analog and RF Systems Group with Plexus Corp., a top tier contract manufacturer with product development capability. During his tenure at Plexus, he was responsible for managing new product development with an emphasis on wireless medical device development, as well as design process quality, operations and new business development efforts. His product development experience includes industrial, consumer, automotive, wireless and medical devices.
