Washington Group International to Share in $10 Billion, 10-Year Contract to Provide Rapid Response Support for the U.S. Air Force and Department of De

A Washington Group International (Nasdaq: WGII) led team is one of six teams selected to share a contract to provide a wide range of support services to meet the needs of the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense worldwide. Washington Group, teaming with ITT Industries Systems Division, Colorado Springs, Colo., will be assigned or will compete for tasks under the $10 billion indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with the Air Force. Contractors will be expected to provide rapid global response with a wide range of support services such as planning, logistical services, engineering, and construction for up to a 10-year period under the scope of this contract in support of military operations, humanitarian aid, disaster relief, and other missions.
