Tut Systems to Highlight Industry-Leading IPTV Solutions at Annual NTCA Event

Tut Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: TUTS), an industry leader enabling the delivery of next-generation data and video services over broadband networks, will showcase its widely-deployed MPEG-4 AVC solutions for IPTV at the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association 2006 Annual Meeting and Expo in San Diego, CA on February 7th and 8th in booth 513.


Tut Systems' demonstration will highlight its IPTV solution the Astria(R) content processor (CP), deployed in 18 countries world-wide. The carrier-class Astria CP product line will be on display demonstrating the latest in MPEG-4 AVC compression technology including encoding and transcoding, MPEG-2 encoding, and IP Forward Error Correction for the delivery of flawless video over IP networks.


Tut Systems will also be participating in the IP Integrated Solutions Pavilion in booth 411 with Optical Solutions, ADC and Metaswitch. The IP Integrated Solutions Pavilion returns this year, featuring a live demonstration of IPTV over both copper and fiber. The pavilion will feature a presentation of a working IPTV network, from the head end to the set-top box. This display will demonstrate interoperability and delivery of new and dynamic systems over a broadband access network.
