Triant appoints William J. Wignall to Board of Directors6 March 2006
Triant Holdings Inc. (TSX: TNT) today announced the appointment of William J. Wignall to its Board of Directors, subject to regulatory approval. Mr. Wignall has more than 12 years of executive management experience in the electronics industry and has held senior level positions in key functional areas including engineering, marketing, finance and general management. Until recently, he was President & CEO of Electronics Workbench, a leading supplier of electronics design automation software, which under his guidance was acquired by National Instruments Corporation (NASDAQ: NATI), a technology pioneer and leader in virtual instrumentation. Before joining Electronics Workbench, he was Vice President at Broadband Networks of Winnipeg (now part of Northern Telecom), a manufacturer of wireless broadband networking products. Prior to that he was Vice President and General Manager for Telezone, a telecom operating company, and also held various management positions at Nortel.
