Samsung Electronics Canada Partners with Wayne Gretzky Foundation on 'Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope'28 July 2006
Samsung Electronics Canada is teaming up with "THE GREAT ONE" to help make Canada's national past time more accessible to youth across the country. Through a new online fundraising initiative, Samsung Electronics Canada and Gretzky mark the official debut of Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope charity program in Canada.
Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope is a goodwill program that strives to raise awareness and funds for special charities endorsed, and in many cases headed, by the special ambassadors including Arnold Palmer, Joe Torre, Magic Johnson, Jon Bon Jovi and Dan Marino. To date, Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope has raised more than $7 million USD for charities supported by these ambassadors.

Through the Samsung Four Ways to Win (www.4waystowin.com/) online initiative, Canadians can support the Wayne Gretzky Foundation while also having an opportunity to win some great Samsung prizes. As the program title indicates, those who participate can win in four different ways - Buy to Win, Sell to Win, Play to Win and Tell to Win.

Buy to Win,
- Visitors purchase ballots (one for $5.00 to 75 for $100) for a chance
to win a Samsung grand prize package including a 50" plasma TV, home
theatre system, Sports camcorder and a digital media player.
Sell to Win,
- Participants who email their friends, family or colleagues about the
promotion receive an extra ballot each time one of the recipients of
their email buys a ballot and are entered to win a Samsung 32" LCD TV
or a Samsung washer and dryer set.
Play to Win,
- Players who successfully solve puzzles or answer trivia questions
receive one extra ballot and are eligible to win a 21" Samsung multi-
function LCD computer monitor.
Tell to Win,
- Samsung consumers who recently purchased a Samsung Electronics
product can enter the UPC code or serial number to have a chance to
win a digital media player, a portable DVD player or a photo printer.
