Remote Surveillance Technologies, Inc. Provides Video Security Design and Integration for Cajon Valley Union School District

31 January 2007

Remote Surveillance Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: RSUR) ("RST or the "Company") (www.rsttech.net) is pleased to announce that the Company is the provider for the design and installation of multi-campus closed circuit surveillance systems for the Cajon Valley Union School District. The Company considers the security market for educational facilities to be a major growth market for it in 2007. Since the rise in public school violence, especially at the middle school and high school levels, is of great concern to the parents of school-age children throughout America. The use of RST's new, integrated security technologies, which can identify and interact with individuals, will help mitigate criminal opportunities and activities on school premises.

The video security systems, located at two middle schools in El Cajon, California, were designed and integrated by RST into a district-wide grid of surveillance cameras. The cameras will enable school officials to reduce vandalism after hours, and document various criminal activities, which occur on the campuses. Administrators now have the flexibility to utilize the off-site, integrated video monitoring services offered by RST, in lieu of hiring an on-site guard service, which would be more expensive and much less effective.

Dr. Laurence Harper, President and CEO of RST, commenting on this extension of the Company's products and services to the educational market, stated: "This represents a great opportunity for RST, as San Diego, CA spent approximately $20 million in 2006 to harden security at various campuses throughout the county. We believe that traditional methods employed, in dealing with this issue, have obviously failed. The American public, when it comes to protecting their children, have shifted from resolutely advocating privacy, to demanding methods of providing a safer campus environment. Our intention is to use our solutions-based, integrated security technology, to assist in making the Cajon Valley Union School District a safer place to educate the community's children. We also consider this to be a substantial growth opportunity for RST in 2007, as we utilize the results that we are achieving in El Cajon to address security needs at school systems throughout California, as well as elsewhere in the United States."
