Praxair Selected to Supply Samsung Electronics Expansion In Korea

Praxair, Inc. (NYSE: PX - News) has been selected to supply multiple products to Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.'s expanding operations in Korea. Praxair will supply nitrogen, oxygen, argon, helium and silane to Samsung for its expanded semiconductor complex in Hwasung. Praxair will design, build and operate an air separation plant using its engineering organizations in Korea, China and the U.S. to meet Samsung's schedule requirements.

"Praxair's large air separation plants have demonstrated quality, reliability and operational efficiencies and continue to meet the most stringent requirements of the semiconductor industry," said Mark Gruninger, vice president, Praxair Electronics. "We are committed to supporting Samsung's expanded production capabilities with a broad portfolio of products."
