Overland Storage Introduces ULTAMUS SERIES of Protected Primary Storage Appliances

Delivering on its vision ofprotecting data across all tiers of storage, Overland Storage, Inc. today introduced the ULTAMUS SERIES(TM) of protected primarystorage appliances at Storage Networking World. Offering enterprise-classprimary storage without the cost or complexity of traditional systems, theULTAMUS SERIES rounds out Overland's award-winning portfolio of solutions,which includes disk-based backup and recovery appliances for secondarystorage, and tape automation appliances for long-term archiving. With theaddition of ULTAMUS with Protection OS(TM), Overland Storage is the firstcompany to provide cost-effective, end-to-end data protection solutionsdesigned for mid-range environments. The introduction of the ULTAMUS SERIES follows Overland's acquisition ofsoftware vendor Zetta Systems in August.
