Fidus Systems earned record revenues of more than $1.4 million during its first quarter this year. Revenue rose 40 percent over that for the same period in 2005. The company just completed its eighth-consecutive profitable quarter. The Ottawa-based electronic design services company also achieved a record for quarterly bookings, signing more than $1.5 million in new contracts for its services. "Our new bookings include several large contracts with repeat customers, as well as a number of first-time engagements," says Michael Wakim, Fidus President.
