International Shoe Manufacturing Corporation Appoints Former Hughes Aircraft Executive as Chief Executive Officer and President

International Shoe Manufacturing Corporation (PINKSHEETS: ISHO) has appointed Mr. R. Martin Spencer as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Spencer has extensive experience in senior and executive management roles encompassing sales, marketing, finance, and business development in the areas of industrial robotic and consumer electronics.

In prior years, Mr. Spencer was instrumental in financial and strategic planning for several companies and held the positions of Manager of Strategic Planning and Diversification at Hughes Aircraft Corporation and Director of Marketing at Schaefer Magnetics, Inc. He also held the position as Vice President and General Manager of Mid America Audio Group, Inc., a large retail organization specializing in audio equipment. Mr. Spencer holds a B.S. in Mathematics with minors in marketing and physics and an Executive M.B.A. from Georgia State University.
