LG Electronics Unveils Newest Cell Phones in China

LG Electronics is launching a line of premium cellular phone models on the Chinese market. The company announced Sunday that it had showcased the new European-style GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) 1.3-million pixel Mega-pixel camera phone (LG-C920) and 2-million pixel digital camera phone (LG-C910) in Beijing.
The unveiling was attended by 17,000 people, including LG and China Unicom employees, and was followed by live performances by Korean celebrities.

The LG-C950 digital camera phone is the first 3-million pixel camera to be introduced on the Chinese market, according to LG Electronics.

LG Electronics also showed off its newest MP3 music phone with music search and MP3 User Interface (UI) and its LG-G920 GSM/GPRS 1.3-million pixel camera phone with scrolling message system.

Vice President of LG Electronics in China, Shin Ki-seop, says that the marketing of the 3-million pixel camera phone will play a major role in enhancing LG’s image in China and adds that the company will continue to produce new models with upgraded technology.
