George Vegh adds high voltage to McCarthy Tétrault's Energy Group17 September 2006
McCarthy Tétrault today announces that Mr. George Vegh, who has advised many of the largest and most profitable gas and electricity players in North America, has joined the firm's Energy Group as Counsel. This energy sector veteran is the former General Counsel of the Ontario Energy Board and once led the Toronto energy practice of a Canadian law firm.
"George is a leading regulatory expert and much sought after commentator on energy policy developments in Ontario. He currently acts as an Adjunct Professor in Energy Law and Policy at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law.
Mr. Vegh received his LLB from the University of Toronto in 1989 and his LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1996. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1991.
