GameZnFlix Movie and Game Rental Service to Be Rolled Out Nationwide in Circuit City Stores26 March 2006
GameZnFlix, Inc. (OTC BB: GZFX), an onlineprovider of DVD movies and video games for rent or purchase, todayannounced a definitive co-marketing agreement with Circuit City Stores,Inc.
In the fourth calendar quarter of 2005, the two companies tested offeringthe GameZnFlix services at a limited number of Circuit City Superstores andonline at circuitcity.com. After concluding the tests, the services willnow be expanded to include Circuit City Superstores across the UnitedStates and will continue to be available nationwide on Circuit City'swebsite.
"We want to offer a variety of products and services to our customers andthe GameZnFlix's program allows our customers to experience the convenienceof renting both movies and games through the mail," said Bill Cimino,director of corporate communications for Circuit City.
The agreement calls for a rollout of GameZnFlix's service by offeringprepaid service cards at each of Circuit City's Superstores. The agreementcalls for adding between 45 and 110 locations each month until fulldeployment is reached prior to the 2006 holiday season. Financial terms ofthe agreement are not being disclosed.
