FOCUS Enhancements Expands Sales Potential for Ultra Wideband Wireless Technology Through Agreement With Premier Technical Sales, Inc.

16 September 2005

FOCUS Enhancements, Inc. (NASDAQ: FCSE) today
announced it has recently signed a manufacturers representation agreement
with Premier Technical Sales, Inc. (PTSI) to exclusively market, sell, and
support its complete line of Ultra Wideband (UWB) chipsets and video
convergence products in Northern California and other key markets.

Based in Silicon Valley, PTSI will sell FOCUS Enhancements' Ultra Wideband
(UWB) chipsets, modules, and evaluation products targeting high
quality-of-service (QOS) wireless video distribution and high speed data
transfers in consumer electronics (CE), personal computer (PC), and cell
phone markets. FOCUS Enhancements' UWB technology, Talaria™, supports a
fully compliant and interoperable WiMedia Standard UWB radio, plus an
extended mode that will produce higher data rates which are designed for
wireless video distribution. The company's FS-1101 (analog) and FS-1201
(digital/baseband) UWB chipsets will operate between 3.2 gigahertz (GHz)
and 7.2 GHz and are expected to provide transmission rates up to 880 Mbps
at ranges up to 8 meters and 37 Mbps at a range of 40 meters. Both
specifications exceed existing published competitive capabilities. The
company utilizes a Direct Sequence-Orthogonal Frequency Division
Multiplexing modulation scheme (DS-OFDM™) to achieve industry-leading
data rates and ranges. Other selectable rate settings include 440 Mbps at
14 meters, 220 Mbps at 20 meters and 110 Mbps at 30 meters.

"FOCUS Enhancements is an innovator in the development of UWB chipsets for
wireless video distribution and a leading supplier of TV-out chip
solutions," said Vince Giacomini, PTSI's chief executive officer. "Their
expertise in the video space is an excellent match with one of our most
important target markets. PTSI is excited to partner with FOCUS
Enhancements, and we look forward to delivering some of the industry's most
powerful wireless UWB solutions."

PTSI will also distribute video convergence processors targeting PC,
set-top box and CE markets and are designed to meet the demanding needs of
markets requiring high-quality conversion of video for display on both
Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD) television. The video
convergence products PTSI will represent include the following:

-- FS-453 HDTV Family tailored for CE, gaming and mobile/hand-held
applications;
-- FS-460 Video Blending Family for set-top box applications where
multiple video formats are destined to occupy the same video display; and
-- FS-400 Scan Converter Family for perfect conversion of analog computer
graphics to analog TV video.

"Consumer electronics manufacturers are actively seeking solutions to
enable wireless video and UWB has become a driving technology," said Steve
Dowdell, president of PTSI. "FOCUS Enhancements' unique Talaria UWB
technology combined with our in-depth channel knowledge will enable the
creation and expansion of wireless video solutions within the consumer
electronics market."

"Silicon Valley represents one of the most influential and dynamic markets
for video-centric consumer electronics in the world," said Mark Zadeh, vice
president of worldwide sales for FOCUS Enhancements' semiconductor group.
"PTSI knows this space and our target customers and the company will enable
us to offer an extremely high level of technical, marketing, and sales
support to its customers like Apple, HP and Thomson. PTSI's extensive
experience, reach, technical support, and distribution services complement
our capabilities, and will help us meet the increasing demand for
innovative semiconductor solutions throughout the region."

Packaged samples of first silicon for the analog FS-1101 chip are expected
back at the end of September and the digital FS-1201 chip is expected back
in the middle of the fourth quarter. Mini PCI modules and evaluation kits
containing FOCUS Enhancements' new Talaria UWB technology are expected to
be available for customer shipments by year-end 2005.
