DataCore Technology to Present to MRO MAXIMO Pharmaceutical User Group

19 July 2005

DataCore Technology, a specialist in implementing electronic document management systems, announced that Brian Sallade, President of DataCore Technology in Exton, PA will be presenting on July 20 at 2:00 p.m. CET at the MRO MAXIMO Pharmaceutical User Group meeting at MRO World at the Hyatt Regency Reunion in Dallas, TX. He will speak about the integration of Cyco AutoManager Meridian and DataCore’s FDA Module with MRO Software MAXIMO in the pharmaceutical environment.

Mr. Sallade will discuss how the integration of these three engineering and maintenance management solutions facilitates compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 through enhanced security of documentation, providing a compliant audit trail, controlled print stamping, and electronic signatures. This helps engineering and maintenance groups in pharmaceutical companies to improve compliance effectiveness, reduce residual compliance risk and lower the total cost of ownership for the solution.

The FDA Module was specifically developed to integrate with Cyco AutoManager Meridian, and provide compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and other GMP requirements. The solution has been deployed at major, tier-one pharmaceutical companies in the U.S. and Europe. The combined solution provides a configurable environment with electronic signatures, automatic PDF/DWF renditions, a compliant audit trail, a User Manager with application login, enhanced security measures, and controlled print stamping

Numerous pharmaceutical companies have chosen to implement DataCore’s FDA Module with Cyco AutoManager Meridian for a number of reasons, including:

- Save time with configurable, out-of-the-box set up

- Improve efficiency, productivity, and compliance through automation

- Reduce validation costs with an available validation package

- Enhance collaboration and document control with configurable workflows

- Leverage engineering documentation by integrating with other enterprise business systems, including MRO MAXIMO, SAP, and EMC Documentum
