Cobra Electronics Announces Completion of Performance Products Limited Acquisition

Cobra Electronics Corporation (Nasdaq: COBR), a leading global manufacturer of mobile communications products, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Performance Products Limited, a privately held consumer electronics company based in the United Kingdom.

In connection with the completion of the acquisition, Cobra entered into an amended and restated loan and security agreement with LaSalle Bank N.A. and National City Bank. The agreement provides for a term loan of $7.0 million, amortized over five years, and a revolving credit facility of up to $40.0 million. An additional term facility of up to $6.6 million will be available to Cobra in connection with the payment of the first earnout to the former shareholders of Performance Products.
