China Digital Group Retains New Technology Consultant China Digital Communications Group (OTC BB: CHID) announced today that it has retained Dr. Yu Ping Wu, one of Asia's most prominent authorities in the battery industry, as its new Technology Consultant. Yi Bo Sun, Chairman and CEO of China Digital, believes Dr. Wu's knowledge and experience will greatly enhance China Digital's position as a leading provider of power supply products.
Dr. Wu is currently a graduate school professor and mentor of PhD students in the Chemistry Department of Fu Dan University. He is also conducting research supported by the China National Science Fund and is on the editorial board for "Battery Magazine." He received his PhD from the Chinese Academy of Science - Chemistry Research Institute and has taught at many foreign universities including Waseda University in Japan and Karl Marx University in Germany. Dr. Wu has participated in post-PhD research work at Tsinghua University and became the youngest PhD student mentor at Fudan University in 2003 and has received numerous awards, including the "Phosphor" Award by the Shanghai Government Science Committee. Additionally, over 70 of Dr. Wu's academic research papers have been published with more than 40 of them issued in journals published by SCI.
