Audiovox's Consumer Digital Multi-Media 2006 Products Feature iPod Docking Station, Bluetooth Earphone and Sunglasses/MP3 Player Combo

LAS VEGAS, and HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Jan. 5 -- LAS VEGAS CONVENTION CENTER, 2006 CES, Audiovox Booth 11006-10506 -- Audiovox Corporation (Nasdaq: VOXX) continues to build its digital multi-media presence with a consumer-driven line, designed to appeal to all age groups and all budgets, with product offerings from sunglass that contain an MP3 players to iPod Docking Stations and a Bluetooth earphone that does virtually everything but carry on phone conversations.


Tom Malone, Senior VP Sales indicates the company's response to the new products in the digital market is driven by consumer preference for MP3 capabilities. The company has taken that into consideration but has gone much further. In 2006, Audiovox will introduce a line of products that go beyond MP3. Highlighting the Company's new products is Model CE602IP, a universal iPod docking station that recharges while playing iPod or MP3 content. Features include super bass speakers, iPod shuffle adapter and AC/DC adapter. Compatible with all iPod products and other MP3 players. MSRP: $69.95


MP128BT is a Bluetooth earphone that is hands-free compliant. Features built-in rechargeable battery, up to 5-hours talk time/ 120 hours stand-by, detachable ear hook fits on either ear; adjustable volume control. Additional features include Answer and End Call switch from phone to headset, noise suppression, echo elimination and duplex sound for crystal-clear quality. MP256SG is a digital MP3 player housed in designer-style sunglasses. Features include interchangeable, polarized shatter-proof lenses, 256MB flash size, built-in rechargeable battery, and up to 8.5 hours of playing time.
