Arotech Announces Additional $2.0 Million in Battery Orders

Arotech Corporation (NASDAQ: ARTX), a provider of quality defense and security products for the military, law enforcement and security markets, announced today that its battery and power systems division has received $2.0 million in additional primary and rechargeable battery orders from various countries.

The orders include a combination of Lithium Ion and Zinc Air batteries that will be used to power communications equipment for military personnel. Delivery is expected to begin this year and will be completed in 2007. With this recent order battery backlog is now just under $10 million.
