Ageus Solutions Provides China RoHS Services to Electronics Industry

Building upon China RoHS solutions provided to over 30 companies, Ageus Solutions has standardized their approach to meet the specific requirements of China RoHS compliance.

Leveraging the same processes as their EU RoHS and WEEE implementation, and through their creation of WEEE treatment instructions / recycling passports, Ageus Solutions has been able to implement the same customer- and deliverable-focused approach to meeting the technical, administrative, and business challenges represented by China RoHS.

There are three stages in Ageus Solutions' process. The first phase is a comprehensive review of the requirements of the China RoHS legislation, the related subsidiary legislation, and their respective implementation stages. The second phase is the parallel effort of determining the application and requirements for a specific company and their products as well as creating an acceptable corporate model for the creation of the proper labeling, Environment-Friendly Use Period (EFUP), material declarations, and related requirements. The third phase is the actual creation of material declarations and related EFUPs for a company's specific products.

China RoHS is the commonly used term for the Chinese legislation (Measures for Administration of the Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products) and while it has some similar content as EU RoHS, it differs significantly in scope, structure, and requirements.
